As the UK’s flagship innovation and research centre for offshore renewables, ORE Catapult is playing a key role in de-risking technology innovations for the sector.
In this webinar, Hugh Riddell and Callum Maxwell of ORE Catapult will discuss the organisation’s Operational Contingency Planning Group (OCPG), which was set up in response to the COVID-19 crisis. The group brings together key members of the UK offshore wind industry to support practical collaboration and action for short to medium-term challenges and impact.
Hugh and Callum will also present the results of a recent survey undertaken by ORE Catapult to identify the challenges the industry is facing due to COVID-19, including:
- Business continuity, operations and production impact
- Reduced scopes of work, business continuity, medium-to-long term impact and business sustainability
- Supply chain resilience and sustainability
