MEMBER NEWS: Scotgrip International announces exciting new business collaboration with Mento AS

Mento AS, one of Norway’s leading oilfield service companies, and Scotgrip International, the market leader in the design and manufacture of offshore and onshore anti-slip safety products, are pleased to announce a joint business cooperation.

This strategic agreement will enhance each other’s business activities in their respective target markets and will enable the supply and distribution of Scotgrip International’s anti-slip product range to the energy, shipping, food and drink sectors across Scandinavia.

Speaking on their latest initiative, Professor George Yule, Chairman at Scotgrip International, said: “We recognise a multi-sector demand to mitigate industrial accidents beyond the highly regulated North Sea energy industry. Many Norwegian companies have similar challenges to their UK counterparts in terms of their targets for HSEQ, sustainability, innovation and value-adding efficiencies.”

“We see Mento AS as a like-minded, ambitious partner with a proven track record, who share our own business values and we are delighted to work closely with them to support clients with cost-effective solutions that will prevent unnecessary slips, trips and falls in the workplace.”

This latest venture supports Scotgrip International’s growth ambition and will ultimately see the Aberdeenshire-based company increase its UK-based staff by 20% over the next 2 years to assist and support their increased network of global partners.
