The firm’s dedicated Agricultural team regularly advises rural landowning clients in respect of option agreements and leases for renewable energy developments.  These have ranged from large scale (both in number and size of turbine) wind farm projects on Highland estates to smaller ventures on owner occupied farms, or in some instances in relation to access agreements to enable a development to proceed on neighbouring land.  Stronachs also advises tenant farmers in respect of resumptions and variations of leases resulting from proposed renewable energy developments.
