Scottish Enterpriseâ€™s role in renewables, particularly offshore wind and marine, is to work with partners to help the sector thrive. We developed and will implement Scotlandâ€™s Offshore Wind Route Map with the Scottish Government, Highlands and Islands Enterprise, local authorities, other industry bodies and private energy companies.
We focus on: engaging with businesses that have the capacity and ambition to diversify into renewables, attracting key investors to locate in Scotland, supporting research and development, developing Scotlandâ€™s physical infrastructure (including implementing the National Renewables Infrastructure Plan) and, providing market intelligence, analysis and strategic insight.
