Given Orkney’s Global leadership in Marine Renewables through the European Marine Energy Centre (EMEC) and International Centre of Islands Technology (ICIT) along with an appetite for innovation to use its natural resources through collaboration hydrogen storage and use projects (BIGHIT and SurfNTurf).

There is opportunity to attract significant investment, expanded employment opportunities, skills and expertise.
