Chevron Upstream Europe (CUE) is a strategic business unit of Chevron’s Europe, Eurasia and Middle East (EEME) Operating Company.

CUE has exploration and production interests in North Sea fields offshore the United Kingdom, Denmark, Norway and The Netherlands.  We have a strong exploration position in the U.K. West of Shetlands Basin and new opportunities in the Norwegian Sea, Greenland, Poland and Romania offering exciting potential for growth in these areas.  We are headquartered in Aberdeen (Scotland) with offices in Copenhagen (Denmark), Oslo (Norway), Voorburg (The Netherlands) and Warsaw (Poland).

In 2010, our net production was 101,700 barrels of crude oil and 346 million cubic feet of natural gas per day.  We invested some $482 million in capital expenditures in our operations and exploration and appraisal activities and spent around $800 million throughout our supply chain.  We are investing around $10 million on technology development to support our current and potential operations through university or joint industry research projects. Further to this, significant investment continues in support of our portfolio of projects.

The business unit currently employs over 1000 upstream staff and contractors both on and offshore.
