ASCO can provide warehousing and laydown yards at various locations in support of turbine assembly and load-out. Included is the ability to provide freight forwarding and customs clearance services for both inbound materials and outbound finished goods.
ASCO Marine has a unique capability to provide support and technical assistance for the deployment and installation of turbines and cabling through the management of sailing schedules and the optimised selection of vessels.
ASCO has developed a unique Integrated Offshore Access (AIOA) system which provides personnel check in, secure boarding and tracking of personnel to a vessel equipped with a heave compensated telescopic gangway. At location, the gangway is deployed allowing safe transfer of personnel and materials from the boat to the wind turbine for operations and maintenance activities.
