All-Energy

All-Energy, the UK’s largest renewable energy exhibition, is held annually at Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre (AECC) and held in association with AREG, who host a major pavilion showcasing Aberdeen City and Shire renewable energy businesses – the 2012 pavilion featured over 55 local organisations.

Close on 8,000 from 50+ countries attended All-Energy 2011. Admission to the major exhibition (580 exhibitors from 20 countries in 2011 – and it was even bigger in 2012), the multi-stream conference, the Aberdeen City Council ‘Welcome Reception’, and Giant Networking Evening are free of charge to all with a business/professional interest in renewable energy.

The conference, with over 280 speakers, looks at every source of renewable and sustainable energy and at the opportunities and challenges facing the overall industry and within each sector.  As well as a compelling political(Westminster and Holyrood)/industry opening plenary session, there are seven parallel streams running throughout both days.

The 2012 event also featured the inaugural ‘Offshore Maintenance – where offshore wind meets oil and gas’ and ‘Smart Energy – dedicated to energy efficiency, energy management, onsite renewable and microgeneration’ zones, where exhibitors offer one-toone advice to businesses.  Both have similar theatres within their zones in the exhibition. There was also a “Low Carbon Vehicle” zone, with ITM Power’s HFuel Here system powering hydrogen vehicles needing to ‘top up’.

In addition to AREG, All-Energy is supported by over 30 key government departments, trade associations and other industry organisations. www.all-energy.co.uk
